3D Animation

Project Description: I built and animated this 3D character using Blender by following a Skillshare course. It was free time project part of my “stretch goal” at Phriendly Phishing.

3D Game - Draft

Project Description: Following the 3D animation project, I started to make a 3D game using the character. Here is a “proof of concept” test I made using Spline. I used Mixamo to animate various character states, assigned game controls to the character in Spline to create this 3D game test.

I successfully embedded the game into Articulate Rise and Storyline. However, due to issues with Spline, this game tends to malfunction. Try re-loading it.

Note: Spline has constraints on the number of materials and objects that can be utilized within a scene. The island featured in this test game was sourced from the Spline library, and many objects were intentionally removed to assess its functionality.

The Essential 8 Guardians

Project Description: The Essential 8 is a set of eight mitigation strategies that define a minimum baseline for cybersecurity.

The Essential 8 Guardians was set to be a learner led adventure course. Participants would choose from eight islands on a map menu, each representing one of the Essential 8 Guardians who would impart knowledge on implementing various strategies.

However, due to time constraints, the original concept was not implemented and instead, the more corporate backup design was undertaken to enhance its professional appeal.

Ransomware

Project Description: Here is a draft version of the Ransomware animation intended for inclusion in a cyber security awareness course on Ransomware. The final cut was edited to a concise 2-minute duration. Please note that the voice over is a placeholder and is typically substituted with narration by a professional voice over artist upon completion of the animation.

Who is Annette?

Project Description: I created this short animation as an introduction on a previous portfolio when applying for the role of Instructional Designer at Phriendly Phishing.

Note: My animation abilities have significantly improved since creating this piece, however, I believe it still demonstrates my proficiency as an Instructional Designer/Training Consultant during that period.
